According to the Bollywood source, director Madhur Bhandarkar has approached actress Deepika Padukone to play the pivotal role in the film. Almost all his films are said to have been inspired by real-life episodes. If rumours are to be believed, he has started working on his upcoming project. “The script is naturally woman-centric and he is keen to have Deepika on board.” Apparently, Dippy is yet to sign the dotted line. Those close to Madhur say Dippy was his first choice for the film tentatively titled Calendar Girl.
